Dr. Hsiao is a Board-certified urologist who did his undergraduate work at Columbia University in the City of New York. He then attended the New York University School of Medicine, where he received his MD degree. Internship and Urology residency was completed at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Dr. Hsiao then went into private practice immediately following residency.

In 2006, Dr. Hsiao became one of the founding members of Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC. He was instrumental in starting the organization’s MRI-Ultrasound Fusion Prostate Biopsy program in 2014. After having performed 1,500 fusion biopsies in 5 years using the Transrectal approach, Dr. Hsiao switched over to exclusively using the safer Transperineal approach in 2019. As of April 2023, he has performed over 2,000 Transperineal fusion biopsies without a single infection complication. With this vast experience behind his expertise, he has helped to diagnose countless cases of prostate cancer, in the safest possible manner, that may otherwise have been missed using the traditional Transrectal biopsies that are offered by most urologists.
