Education and Background

Dr. Lanchoney earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Division of Urology. He also completed a research fellowship in molecular biology.

He has been practicing urology since 2002 and is active on the medical staff of both Bryn Mawr and Paoli Hospitals. He is Medical Director of the MidLantic Urology Surgery Center in Wayne, and serves as co-chairman of the Prostate Cancer Committee. He also serves as an active member of the Pennsylvania Urological Regional Collaborative, improving the quality of care for prostate cancer patients across the region.

Certifications, Memberships, Accomplishments

Dr. Lanchoney is a MidLantic Urology Advanced Prostate Cancer Champion, specializing in the management and treatment of the disease.

He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Urologists, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, and the Golden Key National Honor Society.

He has received the International Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva Research Award, the Howard Pollack, MD Urology Resident Award, and has been named a Top Doc by Philadelphia Magazine and Main Line Today Magazine for multiple consecutive years.
