Steven Pierpaoli
, M.D.
Steven M. Pierpaoli, M.D. believes in providing state-of-the-art urologic care coupled with compassion and consideration to all his patients. This means treating patients as family and working with them to make the best medical decisions possible.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College where he graduated Cum Laude. He then attended graduate school at the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed his internship and residency, eventually becoming Chief Resident at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. Dr Pierpaoli is Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Palos Health/Palos Community Hospital.
Dr. Pierpaoli is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology and a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association, the American Urology Association, the Illinois State Medical Society, the Chicago Urological Society and the Medical Society of Virginia.
“I love practicing urology,” Dr. Pierpaoli states, “because of the relationship that develops treating both the medical and surgical aspects of urologic care.” Outside of the office, Dr. Pierpaoli enjoys cooking all cuisines – from Asian to Italian, exercising and spending time with his four children.
