Dr. Stan Golin is a board-certified radiation oncologist practicing at Advanced Radiation Centers of New York (ARC) in Lake Success, NY. He completed his residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, serving as chief resident from 2004 to 2005. Prior to his residency, Dr. Golin earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine/NY State program at Tel Aviv University in Israel and graduated cum laude with a major in Biology from New York University.
Since 2005, Dr. Golin has practiced in community-based cancer centers in Brooklyn, NY, and New Jersey, developing particular expertise in the treatment of genitourinary cancers, including prostate, bladder, and gynecological cancers. He employs a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing advanced radiotherapy techniques such as image-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), radioisotopes, brachytherapy, and protective spacers to minimize side effects while achieving long-term cancer control and, in many cases, complete cure.
Fluent in Russian, Dr. Golin is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, leveraging the latest advancements in radiation therapy to deliver optimal outcomes.
