Shivani Patel is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle in 2019, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at New York University in 2024. Shivani holds certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

She has over six years of experience working as a registered nurse in internal medicine at Montefiore Einstein, where she developed a solid foundation in providing comprehensive adult care.

In addition to English, Shivani is also fluent in Gujarati. She is deeply committed to patient education and believes that understanding is essential to successful care. She takes the time to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps so patients feel supported, heard, and confident throughout their healthcare journey, with the goal of fostering a welcoming and empowering environment.

Outside of work, Shivani enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new restaurants with her husband, taking walks with her dog, and relaxing with a good movie.
