About

Dr. Tiplitsky received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship and residency in surgery and urology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. There he was extensively trained in all aspects of urology, including urologic oncology, stone disease, incontinence, BPH, and erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Tiplitsky is board-certified in Urology and has published and presented numerous papers regarding erectile dysfunction, stone disease, and laparoscopic/robotic surgery. He practices adult urology with a subspecialty interest in state-of-the-art treatments for BPH, stone disease, sexual dysfunction, and minimally invasive kidney surgery. He performs no-needle vasectomies and is one of the few doctors in the Chicagoland area with expertise in penile prosthesis implantation for the most complicated cases of erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Tiplitsky lives in Deerfield, IL with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys keeping up with the latest technology and gadgets, traveling, following his hometown (NY/NJ) sports teams, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Tiplitsky was named a UroLift Center of Excellence. The UroLift treatment is a revolutionary, minimally invasive approach to treating an enlarged prostate, or BPH. The UroLift System lifts or holds the enlarged prostate tissue out of the way so it no longer blocks the urethra. There is no cutting, heating, or removal of prostate tissue. Click for more information on the UroLift System.

“Urologic health has such a large impact on quality of life. It is exciting to be a part of this cutting-edge field of medicine, helping men and women of all ages. I know that urologic issues can be sensitive and sometimes difficult to discuss. I work hard to help my patients in a comfortable, confidential setting to explore available options and develop a treatment plan that is right for them.”
