Sarah grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. She became a nurse in 2006, after receiving her Associate’s Degree from Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh. With her R.N., she worked as nurse at UNC Healthcare at Chapel Hill and UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. While working at UNC Rex, she went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston Salem State University and finally her Master of Science in Nursing from UNC Chapel Hill. She is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with an Oncology focus. Sarah has worked in urology for more than eighteen years, first as a nurse, now as an AGNP. She is a member of both the North Carolina Nurse’s Association and the American Nurse’s Association, as well as the American Association of Nurse Practitoners. She is Certified Urology Nurse Practitioner (CUNP), a designation she received in 2021. Outside of work, Sarah lives with her husband Will in Holly Springs, along with their two dogs-Riley and Miles. She enjoys swimming, reading, and is an avid movie buff.
