Dr. Challenger’s primary interest is in general urology with a focus on delivering effective, compassionate care in a timely fashion. He strives to treat each patient as an individual with unique issues and concerns. His goal is to develop a treatment plan that is effective yet as simple and easy for the patient as possible. From kidney stones to urinary tract infections and vasectomies to prostate issues, Dr. Challenger’s goal is to make the patient’s urologic encounter as painless and convenient as possible.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Challenger did his medical school training and residency at Loyola University Medical Center under the guidance of Dr. Robert C. Flanigan. He has been in practice in the western suburbs since 2002.
