Nathan Roberts M.D. joined The Urology Group in 2016. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with a B.S. in health studies before completing his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2001. Dr. Roberts then went on to have a short career in pharmaceutical sales before returning to medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. At Jefferson, he was elected to AOA Honor Society and graduated cum laude in 2010. He stayed and completed his surgical internship and urology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he received the Max Koppel Resident Achievement Award in 2015. He completed his residency in 2016.

Dr. Roberts is Director of Robotic Surgery at StoneSprings Hospital. He treats a variety of urologic conditions. He has many clinical interests including robotic surgery for kidney and prostate malignancies and for many urologic reconstructive procedures as well. He has advanced ureteroscopic skills for training under the tutelage of Demetrius Bagley for the treatment of kidney stones and upper tract urothelial malignancies. He enjoys treatment of BPH using endoscopic laser techniques to treat the condition. He also has interests in treating both male and female incontinence and overactive bladder symptoms.

Dr. Roberts is a member of the American Urological Association. He lives in Ashburn, VA with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys running, soccer, and many other outdoor activities that the area has to provide.
