Michelle Waterman joined The Urology Group in 2026. A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she moved to Northern Virginia 28 years ago. Michelle is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, allowing her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University in 2018. She began her nursing career in the Medical ICU at Inova Loudoun Hospital, where she cared for critically ill patients through 2025. She later advanced to the Cardiovascular ICU at Inova Fairfax Hospital, specializing in the care of post-operative cardiac and double-lung transplant patients. In 2023, she completed her Master of Science degree as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at The George Washington University. Before joining The Urology Group, Michelle practiced as a nurse practitioner in oncology and hematology.

Outside of her professional career, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watercolor painting, and exercising.
