Expert urologist, Marc D. Benevides, MD, brings more than 20 years of experience in urology and urologic surgery to the Associated Urologists of North Carolina – practicing out of their Cary office.

Dr. Benevides began his professional education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he earned his undergraduate degree. The following year, Dr. Benevides enrolled in the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree there.

After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Benevides completed an internship in the Department of Surgery-Urology, followed by a residency in the Department of Surgery-General Surgery and Urology at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Benevides is board-certified in urology and proudly holds membership in the American Board of Urology and the North Carolina Medical Society. He welcomes any man, woman, or family seeking comprehensive urology care to the Associated Urologists of North Carolina.
