Education & Training

Dr. Mahdi Bazzi earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wayne State University and his Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at the Vattikuti Urology Institute, Henry Ford Health System, followed by a fellowship in male reproductive medicine and surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Bazzi has authored and co-authored multiple publications in The Journal of Urology and other peer-reviewed journals, focusing on male infertility, reproductive surgery, and sexual medicine. He has also presented research on topics including Peyronie’s disease and prostate cancer at national and international urology conferences. Dr. Bazzi also has the microsurgical expertise to perform the delicate procedure of vasectomy reversal.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bazzi enjoys weightlifting, following sports, and spending time with family. He is fluent in both Arabic and English.

Certifications & Memberships

Dr. Bazzi is board-certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology. He is an active member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA).
