, OTD, OTR/L
Originally from Laredo, Kimberly Rodriguez is an occupational therapist with eight years of experience across hand therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary care in Austin, TX. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, with experience providing care across orthopedic, neurological, and rehabilitation settings.
Kimberly earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree with honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and was honored with the Outstanding Clinical Capstone Award in 2026 for her doctoral capstone work.
As part of her doctoral training, she completed her clinical experience with Urology Austin and now continues her work with the organization. This experience deepened her passion for whole-body wellness and helping individuals better understand their bodies, particularly how the nervous system, breathing, posture, core, and pelvic floor can influence bladder, bowel, and sexual function. Kimberly takes a client-centered and collaborative approach to care, working closely with each individual throughout evaluation and treatment to identify what works best for their needs and goals. She believes in creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.
She previously earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas State University with honors, where she served as Secretary of the Pre-Occupational Therapy Organization, and an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from Laredo College with honors, where she served as President of the Student Occupational Therapy Association.
Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her pomapoo, Nutella. She enjoys indie, metal, and Tejano music, bike riding, and photographing the moon through her telescope.
