Kathryn Watts is an Anne Arundel county native. She earned her undegraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park before attending University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore for her nursing degree. As a nurse, she worked at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and also at University of Maryland Medical Center in a variety of surgical specialties. She returned to the University of Maryland School of Nursing for her family nurse practitioner certificate. She enjoys the wide variety of conditions encompassed by urology. In particular, she is interested in advanced prostate cancer and she works closely with Dr. Jiakai Zhu in the practice treating these patients in our Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic.

In her free time, Kati enjoys running, reading, boating, and exploring with her husband and three children.
