Education & Training

Dr. Palka is a partner in Michigan Institute of Urology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and residency in urology at the Detroit Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis further specializing in Robotics and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery.

Dr. Palka’s research interests include urologic oncology, improving surgical outcomes, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and BPH. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has presented at both regional and national meetings.

When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to good music, and traveling.

Dr. Palka is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association and Endourological Association.
