Jennifer Mendrysa, FNP-C joined The Urology Group in 2015. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the George Mason University in 2005, in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from John Carroll University (1999). In 2015 she graduated with honors from The George Washington University with her Master’s Degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program, and was inducted to Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She has also worked as a clinical instructor for The George Washington University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer worked in the areas of cardiac telemetry and the post anesthesia care unit at a local ambulatory surgery center. She also enjoys helping to treat patients who are underserved and have limited access to healthcare. While attending graduate school, she was selected as one of a few representatives from The George Washington University to participate in a medical mission trip to Haiti.

Jennifer is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, and the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates. She currently resides in Ashburn, Virginia with her husband, two children and dogs.
