An experienced nurse practitioner, Henry Martinez specializes in kidney stone treatment and prevention; elevated prostate-specific antigen, or PSA; low testosterone; erectile dysfunction; and benign prostatic hyperplasia, which is also known as BPH or enlarged prostate.  He sees patients at our Round Rock Office #1.

Dr. Martinez holds a Doctor of nursing practice degree from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

Prior to joining Urology Austin, Dr. Martinez served as a nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedic and musculoskeletal care. He has worked in nursing since 2003, when he began his career as a nurse tech at Central Texas Medical Center before being promoted to supervisory nursing roles.

Dr. Martinez is bilingual in English and Spanish, and treats both female and male patients’ urological concerns. A passionate, ongoing learner, he maintains active membership in the Hill Country Nurse Practitioners Association.
