Ashley Blackshare, FNP-C is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with Urology Austin

Ashley Blackshare is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) who received her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in August 2019. She also holds two Bachelor Degrees: Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Magna Cum Laude).

Prior to completing her education as a Nurse Practitioner, Ashley worked as a Nursing Supervisor at the Dell Children’s Medical Center in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She also has experience in Urgent Care and Family Medicine. Ashley has certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner, in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPR.

Ashley works under the supervision of Dr. Miranda Hardee. As a past patient of recurrent UTIs and kidney stones,  Ashley has a personal understanding and empathy with patients experiencing these conditions. As a native Austinite, Ashley is excited to be a provider at Urology Austin in order to help Central Texans with their urological healthcare needs.
