He earned his undergraduate degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, graduating magna cum laude.

Dr. Bhatnagar obtained his medical degree and master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Pittsburgh. Before entering private practice, he completed postgraduate medical training in Radiation Oncology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In 2023, Dr. Bhatnagar was selected as an honored member of the Nationwide Registries Top Doctors of America Honors Edition.

Dr. Bhatnagar brings more than 20 years of experience to Arizona Radiation Therapy Specialists offering low-dose rate (LDR) brachytherapy. This treatment for men with localized prostate cancer (cancer that hasn’t spread beyond the prostate) is one of the most effective treatments when considering cure rates, side effects, and treatment duration.
